Armagammon is designed to work without collecting your data. This page explains what little information is processed when you use the app or visit this website, and why.
Who is responsible
Armagammon is published by Beyond It S.r.l., Rome, Italy, which is the data controller for the processing described here. You can reach us at hello (at) armagammon.com.
The app
Your data stays on your device. Armagammon does not need an account. Your matches, positions, analyses, flashcards, statistics, and settings are stored only on your computer, and we never receive them.
The app does not include analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash reporting.
Update checks. When it starts, and every few hours while it is running, the app checks downloads.armagammon.com for a newer version. Like any internet request, this check reveals your IP address and basic technical information to the server. It sends nothing from your games or your database. A new version is downloaded only if you choose to install it.
Links in the app open in your web browser and are covered by the privacy policies of the sites you visit.
This website
This website does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking, and does not load content from third parties: fonts, images, and scripts are all served from this site. That’s why you won’t see a cookie banner here.
Like any website, it receives technical information with each request, such as your IP address, your browser type, and the page you asked for. This information is used only to deliver the site and the downloads and to protect them from abuse.
Hosting
This website, the downloads, and the update checks are served by Cloudflare, Inc., which processes the technical information described above on our behalf. Cloudflare may process it outside the European Economic Area, under the safeguards required by the GDPR. You can read more in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
If you write to us
If you contact us by email, we use your address and your message only to reply to you. We keep them only as long as needed, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.
Legal basis and retention
We process the technical information above because we have a legitimate interest in delivering, updating, and securing Armagammon and this website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). It is kept only as long as needed for that purpose. We do not sell your data, use it for profiling, or share it with anyone other than the providers that host our services.
Questions and complaints
Since we do not keep personal data about you, apart from any emails you send us, there is nothing for us to show, correct, or delete. If you have questions about this policy, write to us at hello (at) armagammon.com.
If you believe that the processing of your data breaches data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Italy, this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali; you can also contact the authority in the EU country where you live or work.
Changes to this policy
If Armagammon starts processing data in a new way, for example through a feature that needs an online service, we will update this page before the change takes effect and revise the date at the top.
